We believe that a supportive and positive experience for inmates as they transition back into mainstream society is extremely important. We strongly believe programs should be developed and directed towards eradicating the problem and not the symptoms that yield socially unacceptable behavior and incarceration. We want to lead by example and extend ourselves for the betterment of society and encourage our friends, family and colleagues to do the same. We believe that transformation in one person's life will pave the path for others.
2getherwecan consists of a small group of dynamic individuals committed to positively changing society. Our guiding principle is that we all deserve a second chance. We are based in the Piedmont Triad Area of North Carolina and understand that recidivism is one of the most fundamental concepts in the criminal justice system. What is recidivism? It is a tendency to relapse into a previous condition or mode of behavior; especially : relapse into criminal behavior. 2getherwecan minimize recidivism and maximize our efforts to support inmates to become more productive and positive contributors to society.
